Hello deaf community!
My name is Lisa Strobl.I was born in South Africa. Where in South Africa, in Johannesburg.At the age of 4 I moved to Zambia and then later when I was 8 years old I moved to Zimbabwe.In Zimbabwe I lived from 1984 until 1991. I went to St. Gilles Deaf school in Harare.In 1991 I moved back to Johannesburg and went to St. Vincent Deaf school there, where I also got my Matric degree in 1995. After school I worked in different places and companies and I also was a swimming instructor for children for one year. I also taught sign language to professional interpreters at WITS University in Johannesburg. Also I got a secretary diploma from Pitman.
From 1999 until 2002 I was working for a company doing the Microwave and Satellite Transmission for TV stations mainly for sports events all over Africa. I was employed as a secretary and stock clark. In 2002 I got married and moved with my husband to Germany. We first lived for 5 years in Cologne and then moved to Munich.I learned German language and also got the B2 level, which was challenging for me. In 2014 I applied and received the German citizenship.I have two children with the age of 18 and 10.I m looking forward to working with you and helping you.Thank you.
